Welcome to the MNTL Must-Have 7, our monthly post sharing the 7 coolest products of the month, hand-picked by the Mantelligence team from the thousands of cool things for guys we see each month.
…And these are November’s coolest items:
1. The Anson Holeless Belt
We’ve already done an extensive review on the Anson holeless belt (which you can read here), but here are the highlights of this game-changing product:
It’s a belt that fits almost every size man within 1/4 inch… it’s 50 inches long, with 30+ ratchet-style notches. So you just find your perfect fit and cut off the excess. And there are literally hundreds of buckle/strap combinations, meaning you can create a belt for every outfit.
In other words, Anson has removed the holes and the imperfect fit from traditional belts. Their product is easier to use, and more comfortable… so why wouldn’t you try it?
2. Thomas Earnshaw Stainless Steel and Leather Dress Watch Set
Check out this badass watch/cufflink set from the master watchmakers at Thomas Earnshaw:
It’s an absolutely beautiful stainless steel case and genuine leather band… but the incredibly cool part of this watch is the exposed movement. It not only adds an intricate detail to the face, but also allows you to glimpse what really happens inside your watch.
Plus, the watch comes in a gorgeous gift box with a pair of cufflinks that match. It’s a great gift for a male friend… or an incredibly classic purchase for yourself.
3. Bright Eyes Rechargeable Light
If you bike… or camp… or work on cars… or do anything outside at night, imagine how useful a 1200 lumen headlight/headlamp would be.
…And no matter which outdoor activity is your favorite, this light (that actually comes with a taillight for bicycles) is incredibly useful… it has a waterproof external battery pack that keeps it running for over 26 hours on low power.
In other words, what outdoor man wouldn’t want this rugged, functional light?
4. Brooklinen Classic Core Sheet Set
We at Mantelligence love a good sheet set… because of the way it can powerfully transform your bedroom (especially when a girl sees it).
This sheet set from Brooklinen is exactly the type we recommend for men: it’s classic (no frills or crazy colors), yet incredibly soft (with its percale weave and long staple fibers). Basically, it’s manly, yet it’s completely girl-approved (not like the uncomfortable, sloppy teenager’s bed she hopes you don’t have).
5. Osprey Stratos Backpack
Our own Sam Whittaker used this Osprey Stratos backpack for a trip around Europe, and he was dramatically impressed with its durability.
The pack has 9 exterior pockets, a 37-liter carrying capacity, an integrated rain cover, Airspeed suspension and Lightwire alloy frame, and a mesh back panel (making it lightweight (3 pounds) and incredibly comfortable).
6. Lounge Cloud
The Lounge Cloud is an incredible product for any guy who likes to relax… and isn’t that every guy?
It’s an amazing ‘air sofa’ that’s inflated when you wave it around, trapping air easily inside (meaning you can also customize how ‘squishy’ it is by filling it more or less). It also floats, so whether you need it for a camping trip, tailgate or beach trip, it’s 100% appropriate.
The whole thing even stores in a small backpack, making it perfect for any of those occasions listed above.
7. Karlsson Mini Wall Clock
We’ve mentioned before how difficult it is to find affordable, manly home goods… which is why we were so excited to find this (incredibly) minimal wall clock.
It’s guaranteed to match any man’s home decor (it’s simple, small and solid-colored), but it gets better:
The pure minimalism of this clock makes it stand out, simply because it’s a design that’s not commonly seen. In short, it’s unique, minimal, and manly… a perfect addition to any man’s home.
